Pick a USB port and the Eltima Software-developed application USB Analyzer will monitor that port’s activity. All the data collected by the application can be analyzed, filtered, saved, and exported (as TXT, CSV, HTML, or XML).
A setup wizard that provides support for multiple languages will help you install USB Analyzer on your Windows-powered machine. You can install the application on top of a 32 or 64-bit Windows edition, anything from XP and 2003 up to 7 and 8.
Select a USB device and all captured data will be displayed as a list on the main panel of the application’s interface. Select an entry on the list and more information will be displayed in the Command View and Data View panels down at the bottom. Above all these panels there’s a toolbar with large buttons for various functions and features USB Analyzer has to offer.
The prompt that allows you to select a USB device features a Simple and a Detailed view of all your USB devices. Said prompt also allows you to select the features that will be monitored: Plug and Play, IOCTL, USB, USB function. By default, USB Analyzer will start monitoring a device immediately after you select it. All the data gathered by USB Analyzer is nicely presented on the interface so you can analyze it. The data can be saved as a log or it can be exported. The export function provides support for multiple formats: TXT, CSV, HTML, and XML.
USB Analyzer is free to use for a trial period of 14 days.
